Not for me. I have an irrational fear that consciousness is somehow always connected to the body (even post-death) so I’d rather be burned to death quickly through cremation than feel my body turn into a tree and survive for years in some type of hellscape

The idea seems great but they usually have to cremate the body before the tree pod burial, so this isn't any greener than a regular cremation. And in places where it's legal to bury human corpses without coffins, it probably shouldn't be legal. Think prion contamination of soil and groundwater, or pollutants like dental amalgams. The ideal disposal method for our remains would be industrial composting (after breaking out teeth, removing artificial hips etc.)

Yes! I've always wanted this, didn't know it was an option but I was just gonna have my ashes put into a hole and plant a tree on top.

Putting me in a hole with a tree on top sounds fantastic. Let's also skip the funeral and all that shit. No sense in filling my corpse with formaldehyde, you'll just make it hard for the worms to decompose me.
