Today my puppy hurt his leg. I wish I could fix him.
Today my SO got home from to find our 9 month old puppy crying and shaking in the corner of his pen. We rushed him to the vet, who stayed open 1.5 hours after they closed to take x-rays. Were now just waiting for results. He's crying constantly and my heart breaks more every second. I would give anything to take his pain away.

It looks like a big ol fox tail. Hoping for a speedy recovery!

Poor pup, many many prayers OP. Best thing for it is to try to keep good energy around him for now. Plz update, much love to everyone there.
SnoweyTurtle
Thank you. The main meds are helping. He's acting like he's not even hurt now. Seems more frustrated that I won't play.

He coul den have ripped his ACL at such a young age could he?
SnoweyTurtle
Vet don't say anything about his ACL. She thinks its a fracture.

He's basically on the puppy equivalent. Still crying.

Then obviously, it's not enough.

was he in his pen the whole time? I wonder if he tried to jump out and hurt himself. Details?
SnoweyTurtle
He stays in his crate as were at work because he eats drywall. We think he got his foot stuck in the bars and panicked twisting his leg.

We're going to need updates, OP. Best to your pup.

The pain meds are helping. He's acting like he's not even hurt now. Seems more frustrated that I won't play with him then anything.

Good to hear. Hopefully now the worst part of the experience for him will be the cone of shame.
