#1 Star Trek was proving people's gods false while Stargate wasn't even a twinkle in its creator's eye yet, prime directive or no

#3 yeah, it's called: the ring cycle.

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

Is that like the spin cycle in a washing machine?

#17 The floating platforms always felt odd to me. People from thousands of years ago figured out how to conquer gravity, and rather than using it to help society, they kept it to themselves and made life harder for future archaeologists instead?

#26 saw an interview with porn star Lisa Anne. She said organizing a gangbang was incredibly difficult. Selecting guys who all get along with each other (even in porn) was really difficult. They also have get along well enough to be able to touch their ball sacks together and be okay with it.

You expect me to believe these men were not completely comfortable in their sexuality and would be frightened by so much as a testicular high-five?!

#1 the hilarious thing about this is that stargate doesn't have warp technology. They are almost a cautionary tale about what happens when a pre-warp civilization is contacted before it has advanced that far. They run around the galaxy polluting the cultures of other civilizations with advanced tech and knowledge, willy-nilly, with no regard for setting off a literal intergalactic war.

@#1 Ha ha, you have to give it to the Tauri. SG1 transversed time and space blowing up a few star systems along the way. Not bad for a four person team. If I were the Goa’ uld, I would’ve packed up, headed to the Pegasus Galaxy and taken my chances with the Raith.

#7. Romulans have the warbirds and the Klingons have the birds of prey. This woman, this pa’tak knows nothing of Star Trek. It’s clearly the Defiant, behind the lines during the dominion war. Possibly being chased by the jem’hadar. Possibly.

No he isn’t. /a/qpYMWne

You speak of Trek yet you utter falsehoods.
Truly, it is you who are the P’tak.

Brannon Braga (Writer for TNG, Voyager, and Enterprise) has said (re: Enterprise) "We made one mistake where in the pilot we called the Klingons' ships Warbirds, when in fact the Romulans use Warbirds and Klingons use the Bird-of-Prey. There was nothing we could do about it, and I'm sure we're going to get a lot of angry fans. But it was an honest mistake." However, there have been several ships across the franchise identified as Klingon Warbirds (as well as the Romulan BoP you linked).

I bid 200 Quatloos on the newcomer.

It was not until I played STO that I realized just how massive the Romulan Warbird was. Also, motherfucker flies like an overfilled bathtub.

2 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

the D'deridex and the Vo'Quv are the only ships with such terrible turn-to-acceleration rates that you can actually drift them.

2 years ago | Likes 18 Dislikes 0

Still prob the best dumb departure from the books. Always makes me laugh.

2 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Considering how dangerous the tri-wizard tournament is, it makes less sense for him to ask calmly. I think the movie version makes way more sense.

#41 Spec Ops the Line recently got removed from sale on Steam. :(

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

That’s a shame. I’m glad I bought it digitally for Xbox 360 so I can still replay it when I feel like a gut-punch to the heart.
