I'm going to take her to a vet and get her checked for a chip and see who tf the owner was and see if anything can be done. Idk how shes not hurt and shes blind in both eyes and looks to be at least 10 years or older. I'm so upset about this its making me angry even typing this up. If any of you live in Jacksonville FL and know anything about her let me know. Its a long shot but I am sharing here and a lot of other pages on FB in my local area for help.
Edit: took her to the vet. She was chipped but her owner was dead? She's definitely blind. We think it was the family of the deceased owner trying to get rid of her. I couldn't afford her flea and worm medicine or her pain meds for her leg that got injured. Luckily my vet gave her all of the pain meds for free. She's passed out in a kennel with rice and chicken and water.
I'm going to take her to my grandfathers farm tomorrow. Hopefully we can find a spot for her and get everything. None of this was expected and im not even working right now so i cant afford to be her caregiver but hopefully my grandfather will or one of his neighbors will.
Edit2: 5:44 EST I woke up just now to check on her and shes dead. Whoever did this to this animal I hope you fucking rot in a dark, depressing and painful place you waste of flesh. Why?
