So I wanted to try OSL and painting a volcanic base. I found this sculpt by Broken Anvil and he's got everything. A brazier for a head, a massive hammer, skulls everywhere...what's not to love?
I set up a half decent set with a black background and a side light.
...and tweaked the photos a bit in lightroom.
Some weaker contrast for this one.

That's... Well, the easiest part. It's done with a technical paint that makes that nice dual tone green. Literally one coat of paint.

Have you tried speed paint? What kind of paint do you use. I’ve been wanting to try army painter speed paint.

Like contrast paints? No, since i paint to relax and not to play, it would be against the point, so I just take my time and go the old way
