100 days til Halloween, so 100 days worth of horror movies. And I couldn't pass up starting with two Hammer Horror classics (hosted by none other than director John Carpenter last night).
THE CURSE OF FRANKENSTEIN (1957) being the first horror film made by Hammer in color ("The Quatermass Xperiment" is officially their first horror movie). As well as the first to bring Peter Cushing and Christopher Lee together.
THE MUMMY (1959) being the third pairing of Cushing and Lee, as man and monster... with Dracula being released between the two films in '58.
