Once you grow up and realize living takes work, you won't feel bad after holidays anymore.

Been off since the 20th. Still not ready to go back

I had a 5-day streak out of the office for Christmas, only worked 4 days last week because of New years, tomorrow most of the city is closed due to weather including my employer, and staring Friday I have a 10 day vacation. February is gonna suck.

I told that to a coworker when I came back from vacation and she asked me if I was "re-energized to get back to work again?" To which I replied, "going on vacation just emphasizes just how much I really don't want to go back to work again...and if I didn't like money, I certainly wouldn't do this anymore!" She had no answer for that...but I did see a recognition in her eyes as if she knew exactly what I was expressing but was too afraid to admit such to herself!

I took a week off for Christmas but ended up doing more shit than if I had just worked and got even more burnt out and then got sick once everyone went home! Winning
