Congrats! Glad you don’t have to go to the hospital anymore. I’m so sorry you had to do this alone. Imgurians are a great support tool

Fuck Cancer! That bell is something bittersweet. Always happy for folks to ring it and sad for those that didn't get to.

I was at a doc appt at a cancer center. I got to hear someone ring the bell. It was super moving to watch and to hear... fuck cancer..

Fuck cancer. But fuck this fight language. Those that get cured are lucky. Those that did not survive did not do so because they were weak.

6 years ago | Likes 19 Dislikes 5

Grit, nor positive attitude has repeatedly been found not to influence cancer survival.

6 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 3

I credit my medical team for my survival, I was scared and did what my doctors recommended. Tests, biop, cut that out, and radiation.

Anybody else tap to upvote multiple times knowing it doesn't work that way but feels like a post deserves it anyways? Also, congratulations!

On every picture!

It's rare but this is definitely a time when I did! I like to think @op could feel my intention!

6 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

I don't like those bells. Imagine being told you have terminal cancer and there's nothing they can do and hearing that go off.

6 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 2

They would be happy to hear that nobody else is following them, they arent narcissists.

6 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

That would make sense if that was the cure for cancer bell, there's always someone following in the footsteps.

6 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

That's not so say belittle op for beating it, congrats. Just think hospitals should be a quiet place

I know what you mean, but imagine there was a fellow cancer patient who you met and got along with. You'd still be happy for them...
