His watch has ended

Lost my Toby yesterday. The cancer in is left front leg became too much and he was suffering and in pain.

He was my best friend, my emotional mirror and my shadow. He went everywhere with me. His personality was stunningly beautiful. He loved everyone he ever met. My wife and I called him our cozy Toby, because he had a way of cuddling up to you that made you feel like a million bucks.

His very last picture. A last meal of a New York Strip steak. We made him comfortable and had a lot of time to tell him how much he was loved and how he enriched our lives. And that he was the goodest of boys.

My wife and I holding his paws before his passing into heaven, to his rest and peace. It’s hard to breathe today and the tears are flowing still. He’d been with us since February 2, 2007. I just needed to share him with you all, upvotes or not.
