Have a very bad, very sad, disgusting, halloween

I really love the fake spooky vibes, the way people decorate their houses, all the kids and adults going about in their amazing costumes and I'm happy that I can marvel at these costumes thorugh Imgur this year. But where I live, nobody really celebrates Halloween. So there's no point in decorating my own house or getting a costume, because well Okt 31st is just an ordinary day here. I'd love it if Halloween was a thing here instead of blasted St Martin. The songs aren't even any good!
