Also a snake that size would put up a massive struggle if someone were trying to hold it's head underwater, it would not be still like that. It'd thrash before drinking the water to be able to breathe.

Snakes have a see through scale that covers the eyeball. They have no need to blink. Sneks can drink by using their body's muscles to suck in water. Hence the mouth barely moving.

On the contrary. I've cared for corn snakes, rat snakes, king snakes, and ball pythons and have never seen them completely submerge their heads to drink. Of course, I've never shoved their heads into a cup of water for internet points either.
