Oh I agree. The point is to get people talking with a purpose toward action though. Also to explain how I wouldn't even piss on a maggot to put them out if they were on fire is an entirely understandable mindset.

The paradox of tolerance disappears once you realize that tolerance is a societal contract rather than a moral obligation.
If a person or group refuses to abide by the terms of this contract, then they are no longer eligible for its protections.

It is the very definition of a paradox. To be tolerant across the board means to be tolerant of intolerance but to be intolerant of intolerance cancels out said tolerance.
