I respect JD's opinion, but I'd have put up with that for Mandy Moore

IDGI, half the time I try to load a Tumblr page I give up because it apparently contains adult content and therefore I need to log in, and >

But they can get all that sweet advertiser money from Mazda or whoever didn't want their Brand to appear next to titties

This almost syncs up nicely. Sweet. Also bye bye Tumblr.

It syncs because that is actually what Dr. Cox said in this scene :P

It'll have to be named 'Bring Back the Pron' because "Porn" won't be allowed by the filters.

As more and more website/etc drop porn, I'm partly expecting a rise (yeah... should have thought better there) in people looking up new 1/
sources and finding usenet still exists... 2/2
No need for that. There are still pleeeeeeeeenty of websites whose entire raison d'etre is capital-P, O-R-N. And various imageboards where >
> you have the option of browsing work-safe or switching to "see everything" mode. The terror is pointless. Though I do miss Usenet somewhat

Usenet for binaries is shit unless you pay though, at that point why not just join empornium or such.
mostly as most usenet feeds will work pretty much anywhere, where as there's always the case of X website will be the next to be blocked?
The chances of site x being blocked are probably about as big as... newsserver provider x being blocked. Difference is just words.
I'm in the UK, we're still fighting off age verification for websites. But as politicians don't understand it, anything not a website 1/

Heard on “QI” that a recent study showed that only 2% of the internet content is porn! But 96% of all email sent is spam...
drbloodbathmc
I want a source on that first one.
I believe it's a side effect of Sturgeon's Law. The vast majority of online content never gets looked at by anyone except its own creator. >
> But that 2%? HUGE amount of traffic going to that seemingly small section of the total data. Like how 2% of all roads have 90% of traffic.
It was from BBC:s “QI” with Stephen Fry, the information was from a college... “in 2006, the US Department of Justice hired statistician”
“Philip B Stark, of the University of California, to find out how much of the web was “porn” He discovered that only.
1.1 per cent of the websites indexed by Google and MSN fell into that category. Sauce:
