The moment you walk out that door and go anywhere, you'll spend money, so this tracks.

The importance of this concept has become my lifestyle. It's sacred.

That looks so uncomfortable. It's 2026. There's no reason better folding chairs couldn't be used on sets. There are high-backed office chairs that offer better comfort and support and don't creak when people shift their weight in them.

Those are called "The sleep won" naps.
Where you don't get the time to turn the lights off before the nap takes you.

Maybe the dude's sitting under a huge skylight. Maybe he learned in school that turning lights off and on cause them to consume more energy being left on continually. Plus, keeping a 60W incandescent bulb lit 24/7 costs barely more than 1ยข/day. Modern LEDs and fluorescent bulbs cost less. People screaming about leaving lights on are the same ones that complain the minute you shut off the TV the minute they leave the room. They're that stupid.

In this case you are the stupid one, turning lights on and off use a miniscule fraction of their on state usage, worst offender florescent, about 1 second of normal use so even they benefit from turning them off if leaving for an extended period. In my area a 60w lightbulb on for 24 hours would cost 50 cents not 1 cent, multiply that by multiple bulbs over a month over a year it adds up. And all of this is ignoring the other reasons you should be turning your lights off when not in use.
