My husband plays an online mobile game. One of his friends lives in Kharkiv. He couldn't leave.

Kharkiv was occupied by the Russian military this morning.

In other news, I am personally overwhelmed by the way people here in Romania have mobilized to offer support to Ukrainian refugees.

People are gathering supplies such as clothes, medicine, blankets, food. Restaurants are offering to feed Ukrainians for free for as long as they need it.
