Idk when my power went out, but I play new girl on my phone while I sleep (for white noise). Bc the power went out, my phone died and I missed my alarm, so I didn't wake up until my one dog started whining, which she never does. Had no idea what time it was (power came back on by now) until I found my watch. I was supposed to be at work at 4. Thankfully I'm a contractor and make my own schedule but missing a shift gives me HELLA bad anxiety. I thought I talked myself down into feeling okay, but as I was working I felt my anxiety and panic creeping up. I took my emergency dose of Valium but it didn't help this time, so I left early and cried the entire way home. I've only been up since 1:00 today, and it's 4:00 right now, but I think I might just go back to bed.
Anyone have any tips on how to break out of this mental hell hole? Cuz none of the ones I usually use are working today. The only bright spot is #ellibay , my big old Dane mix, is lying next to me with her head on my stomach cuz she knows her mom isn't right.
I'm AuDHD, bipolar, ODD, have anxiety and depression, and I'm just about over it.

Eat a good, hot meal. Give if two hours. If you sell like going to bed go to bed. If not sometimes you do just have to chalk a day up to mental health. ADD, bipolar here with depression and anxiety as symptoms.

ADHD-I, and running helps me feel re-centered, especially when I focus on my breathing pattern. Growing up, certain that I just couldn't run, I started with a couch-to-5k running app, and really enjoy it, despite struggling still with motivation.
