FML-trimalleolar fracture

So Saturday night I was out the lake with my girlfriends having a relaxing time. Went to leave and stepped wrong, heard a snap, had to be picked off the ground by firefighters and put in the back of my car. Went to the ER with my husband to be told I've basically shattered my whole ankle! I will need surgery so wasn't a big deal; at the time the pain was bearable. Get home and get into bed when the most unbearable sensation hit.

I'm venting so please forgive me. I'm in excruciating pain and have 2 kids at home(10 years and 11 mos). I feel like a burden on my family and my job(I'm a nurse-got moved to phone nurse after this). My husband just started back to work on night shift and I cannot be left here alone with the kids due to I can't stand on but one leg(I've already fallen 3 times with the stupid crutches). If you've never seen this kind of fracture, google it! It's by far the craziest thing that could've happened. Surgery won't be for another week so I'm pretty much going to be living on Imgur with you awesome ppl to get me through.
