Ironically I came across this onion post today. As this past weekend I was chatting with friends about an upcoming trip to San Diego. I said, "I know a taco shop that we shouldn't eat at"...
Few years ago, I was there with my family, and we all got tacos for dinner. We shared them all, except the shrimp taco. Only I ate that. Fast forward 8-9 hours and I am spending the rest of our trip, in the fetal position on the floor of the hotel's bathroom with food poisoning.
They were damn good tacos though.

We had the Beijing Palace; they couldn't keep their kitchen score above 70, but they had great lunch specials and generous portions. The entire neighborhood was so sad to see them shut down

I was listening to an episode of "Well There's Your Problem" about an engineering disaster involving a nuclear missile in Arkansas. The closest town is Damascus, population 382. It has one Mexican restaurant called "Amigo Loco." The hosts all agreed that the food there is probably amazing.
