This makes this comic's universe kinda grim. 😐
theworldcouldbeflat
This is the Internet, dark humour is it's best quality.
fubizdaddie
Yeah, people have to train and educate their offspring to avoid their idiot base instincts and be more than our feral selves, otherwise society collapses into in-groups and outfighting and racism and ... Oh no
AsianLeprechaun
Eh they operate on low level toonforce, they'll be fine.

No worries, still waaaaaaay less grim than actual nature. Like not even the same ballpark. Nature is cruel and savage, and anyone that doesn't think so just doesn't know about nature.
Hexrowe
Eh. The real thing about nature is that it's literally EVERYTHING - and when I say "literally" I don't mean figuratively - and also not a conscious actor so attributing sentient characteristics like "cruel" and "savage" to it is pure projection.
DaveTheScientist
Not quite. I didn't say nature is an entity that is savage and cruel. I guess it's a possible interpretation, but so is "the events that take place in nature would be considered by people as savage and cruel". That really seems like the most obvious one too.
Hexrowe
Everything that takes place takes place in nature. EVERYTHING. The baby petting a puppy is no less a part of nature than the botfly burrowing into your eye.
DaveTheScientist
So you've continued to choose pedantry eh?
