A decadent coconut-cocoa graham crumb base, a thick layer of creamy custard and all topped with a sheet of chocolate. A Canadian classic!

Bringing these puppies to work tomorrow. They're actually not puppies, not sure if my work allows dogs.

As long as you haven't put any walnuts in the base. These are my fave, but it's so hard to tell the safe from the poisonous.

Ahhh, so that's how you spell that. I only know them from hearing the word on Corner Gas.

Probably my favourite dessert. Could smash a whole tray right now... and a lasagna. Goddamn I'm hungry!

Nanaimo bars are the preferred dessert of any meal featuring lasagna!

It's a canadian thing. So much sugar that you'll catch diabetus pretty quick, but damn, they're yummy

Catch diabetes just by looking at them. Heck even if you think about eating one the legends say.

Thanks for sharing the recipe. My Mom used to make something like this but used graham crackers as the crust. 2-3 layers. Mmmm
