Main characters isn’t the only reason why I liked 2; abilities were more balanced, hitting things with a big-ass drill was more satisfying than a wrench, and the story felt more involved rather than being some rando who walked into Rapture. Not exactly the most up-to-date game, but it’s a thought I always had.

Being the rando created a sense of confusion and fear. Being the Big Daddy took away both of those things that made the original great.

don't like playing as a big daddy. too slow. even if it wasnt slow it felt slow which frustrated me.

A lot of the mechanics got changed so originally you'd be fighting mobs and the drill would keep going. There's a lot of changes
