Playing with a fennec familiar. So far he has: Stolen several apples from the town guard/several stalls. Gotten the party detected because the enemy was cooking venison and he decided he NEEDED some... and so my Elf started to fight with him to try it themself.
Unfortunately, it's a Modern Game (tm), so you have to do a couple tutorial quests and whatnot before the world opens up. Prolly takes about an hour, to hour and half, IIRC. It's been a few years since I played it.
Having your movement restricted for a bit is part and parcel of open-world games, yeah, so it's to be expected. As long as I'm able to enable fox-interaction as soon as I'm given free rein in the open-world, I'm good. Cheers :)
