With an apple a day. He’s been obsessed with apples since he was a baby, which makes sense given I made cider for a living when I adopted him. It was fate.
He loves chomping a full apple. This one was a bit large, so he had it in two sittings. No, it doesn’t give him diarrhea. And no, there isn’t enough cyanide in the seeds to do anything to him. Once we hit harvest season, this boy remembers every single apple tree in town and will pull me towards it so he can bring one home.
I miss making cider. I still make it as a hobby, but I do miss making in professionally and on a larger scale. I loved wild ferments and botanical adjuncts. I made a tulsi cider once that was so good it made me cry.
Anyway.
Much love, from my fruity friend and me.

Him eating his apple was the most peaceful video I have seen in a long time. I can’t stop watching. Just lovely.

They way Atlas is sweetly taking bites and chewing just made my night.
SuperfluousMeh
Atlas is such a character

Aw, love that boy, glad to see him enjoying an apple, hope it keeps the doctor away. Or doesn't, if that's preferred?

Let's go with "at bay" just in case.
ThisGuyPostingThings
From my experience, doctors do love fishing, so being "at bay" sounds like a plus for them.

Oh wow, suddenly the dog's name makes ABSOLUTE sense! Heracles (Hercules but in Greek) requested the help from Atlas to fetch the Apples of the Hesperides in his 11th mission, so it makes sense that Atlas would be an apple fetcher :)

And the user name is based off the novel by Ayn Rand, Atlas Shrugged.
