A blue fuzzy Charles Dickens and a rat share the classic Yuletide tale of Ebenezer Scrooge.
Considered by many to be the best Muppet movie ever made, CHRISTMAS CAROL was produced after creator Jim Henson’s death and directed by his son Brian. Starring Michael Caine as the token human and Kermit the Frog in the Bob Cratchit role, the script is chock-full of silly jokes, visual comedy, and catchy songs. It’s also one of the most faithful adaptations of the book too. The emotional moments are well-handled, and the performances are excellent. There are literally hundreds of adaptations of this story, but the Muppets version is easily in the top 10.
A MUPPET CHRISTMAS CAROL is streaming on Disney Plus.

Might be the definitive Carol! I notice new details each watch, and I watch it every year. My wife didn't grow up with the Muppets like I did, but she's come to love it. It's our Christmas midday movie now.
