He was quite skittish at first. Trying to hide behind everything. Even the wood railing that was a quarter his width.
He got a little more inquisitive pretty quickly. Mostly looking for better hiding spots though. He's smart and I'm pretty confident he knew he was giving me trouble with the lead. Forcing me to follow through tight spaces and untangle it from trees.
After a bit he accepted that the outdoors weren't so bad and had a bit of a lay down in a semi open area by a tree.
Then he saw some birdies and realized the outside isn't so bad. He was now mere feet from those critters he wined about not being able to get from inside our apartment. (Ignore my chicken legs)
And at the end he was strutting around and enjoying the sights and smells.
