I wonder what those big curbs are used for?

My day job (one of 4 jobs I have currently) is to take care of of my bridge where 2 different states are connected at either end. That includes accident cleanup, slowing ir stopping traffic to remove debris. EDP's attempting to walk or bike across the bridge that, honestly has NO sidewalks, lanes that are so small that 2 18 wheelers could POSSIBLY fit next to one another but if a small breeze pushes 1 truck toward the other by 5 to 6 inches, they'd collide.
I spend a lot of time dealing with some pretty crazy people and cleaning up a lot of accidents and such. If anyone would be interested in knowing or seeing what I do, lmk.

I just wanted to use this post to complain the following:

So the mods have deleted a few of my comments on other posts. No warnings, no messages to me about any impropriety in any way. They're just GONE. They disappeared. This is how it starts. When someone deletes things that they don't like, don't approve of, or clashes with their idea of how things should be. But they do it quietly. They do it hoping none will know.

This is part of what I do. I shut down Lanes for traffic, police check points, construction, accidents, truck fires, overturned vehicles, emergency bridge repair etc.

This was all the same event at 1 of the 3 bridges that I am assigned to.
If any of this is interesting to anyone. Let me know. I have tons of pictures and video of a whole host of different things. Accidents, fires, spilled payloads, angry motorists. The list goes on. Sadly I'm leaving this job real soon. That's the only part that really sucks. I LOVE my job. Wouldn't change a thing about it. But bills are too high and we can't afford it even though we both work multiple jobs. So we're moving to a state that the cost of living is low enough to work 1 job each and still have money left over to buy food.
