I feel empathy for those living in pain, but I feel nothing for people I don't know who die. I dunno... is that normal?

I wouldn't say it's abnormal. A lot of people identify with actors and the rolls they play, which is why they mourn when they die.

I really thought he was a fantastic artist, and seemed a decent guy. He was just this huge figure who did amazing things. 1/2
