3 Months Off the Sauce

I was not an alcoholic but my excessive drinking(drinking to the point of blackout/binge/no limit) caused big problems in my relationship and now marriage. I would become an asshole when I was under the influence of alcohol and it was only around my wife. I could drink all day around anyone else but once I got around my wife, she hated the person I was which therefore made me become an asshole towards her. I decided that it was time to give up the sauce (not szechuan, sorry folks, sold out here in the bay area). My marriage is in one of the best places it has ever been. Mostly because I'm not coming home drunk and acting like a jerk (never put my hands on her for those of you thinking the worst) or causing her to relive my drunk moments when she sees me drinking. It is probably one of the best decisions I've made. My friends and family still drink around me and I have finally realized that the sauce is not what makes a good time, it is your perception and what you can make of it. Cheers. Trolli Squirt ????
