I use a program called NoScript; good for assisting my adblocking, preventing any kind of unwanted pop up, any interaction, etc. It doesn't even let YouTube access my data to figure out if I'm using an adblock, very good stuff. Now I'm not sure on how many sites it might work, BUT, it has an individual list of every active scripting element, and you can disable or enable them one at a time. So it helps sometimes.

You can get addons that disable paywalls too, I've got Bypass Paywalls Clean at the moment, seems to be functioning well and isn't otherwise giving me any red flags.

Just as a PSA, if you have $10-15 a month to spare, most of these mainstream vpn services like nord or expressvpn have built-in adblocking. So far, Express's works on everything except twitch, but I have a browser addon for that.

CMS pull the data via javascript into the DOM, load it dynamically. Paywalls, at least modern ones are behind account systems, that check if the user is logged in and has a subscription.
Last time this made sense was around 2010?

Since writing this comment I found a way to bypass the situation on top. Firefox has a plugin called "Bypass Paywall Clean" it works suprisingly well.
Since there is a firefox version on Android, maybe this plugin works on Android as well, but this is a big if!
