Rickey Henderson appreciation

I had the pleasure of meeting the Stolen Base King on Thanksgiving of 2007. I was 18 and my gf invited me to spend the holiday with her family. Randomly a man walks up and takes this picture of me.

I ask my gf who he is and she said, "My Uncle Rick."

For Christmas i get a framed copy of the photo with an autograph and again i ask, "Who is this man?" And again she responds, "My Uncle Rick. Rickey Henderson."

I didn't follow baseball at the time and had no clue who he was. And I'm glad i didn't, because i would've been the biggest fangirl. RIP to the legend, Rickey Henderson
