My Mom was living in Winnipeg, and with 4 of her 20something GFs, "borrowed" one of the parents sedans and they drove 17 hours in the Midwestern winter to go see the tour. Years later my mom saw that Simpson skit where Lisa Simpson is figuring out who voted for Sideshow Bob it was all these people in the cemetery, and they had grave marker for the Big Bopper with the Epitaph goodbye baby with him holding a disconnected phone receiver

I'm not sure about the US, but in the last Canadian election the majority of people over the age of 60 voted Liberal. It's Gen Z and Millennials that are falling for the insane right wing garbage, mostly powered by billionaire funded podcasts and influencers.

Yep, Canada's election was flipped from the US' - the older you were, the more likely not to vote right-wing. The younger gens went further to the right. Not good. :/

Tbf a lot of them are having huge buyers remorse, but I remember desperately trying to get my gen-z coworkers to listen and understand before the election. I made the decision to move from one of the reddest states to the bluest right after the results were announced. Best decision i ever made, but its hard not to roll my eyes when I see them posting tl"his isn't what I voted for" when I warned them about, many times in fact, exactly what they were voting for.
