Gravity Falls is amazing. If you have never seen it, you should go out and watch all of it. I have been waiting forever for his Netflix project to ever come out. I wonder why it's been delayed so long? Maybe because they worry it would be like Matt Groening's period animation piece that wasn't really that amazing.

The reality is that Russia is exactly what the Right has been describing for decades. Strongman leader, oligarchs that are above the law, a singular Religion that holds power, racial supremacy, sexist laws, anti-lgbt, anti-democracy, and on and on. yeah, but you conflated Russia with communism when you made the comment. No worries, but it's something I've seen a lot with people trying to make fun of Republicans working with Russia when Reagan condemned them. Which misses the evolutionary fact that Russia is not commie and is not seen as commie from conservative views. It's like a weird gotcha that doesn't work except in liberal echo chamber.

But also for kids. But also batshit crazy in parts. Built for the conspiracy theorist.

It's a great show, Hirsch only made two seasons, but it's two seasons with a very good story arc and a really solid ending.

It's a kids show with a good dose of coming-of-age themes, some dark humor, a subtheme of mystery and ciphers, many great and only a few meh episodes, and a dignified end after two seasons.
