I’m not even kind of hung over and I’d destroy 2 of those right now

If you can eat, you're not hungover

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Thats just 90% meat

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

+1 for proper bacon

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

That's a massive amount of food for one serving... I'll take two of those, please.

9 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

its a stock image for a fry up platter. Usually a Saturday morning ritual for a family of 4.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

God I really miss black pudding

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I suppose eating yourself to literally death counts as a cure...

9 years ago | Likes 17 Dislikes 3

I could eat that whole plate right now.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I don't think I'll ever understand beans for breakfast.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

is that served on a bid lid?

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

I bet you can't eat it all.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I'm not gonna disagree with you there. That could feed a family.

9 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

I was trying to make a joke about "bid". And you're right about a family meal, except if there's a teenager involved.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Oh I didn't notice I put bid instead of bin till you just pointed it out :)

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Ooo 3 oreos

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

What are those round black things?

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Flavour discs, they're big here in Ireland too

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

For real though it's black pudding

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Black pudding. The ingredients don't sound great but they taste amazing.

Man I miss rashers, one of the cool parts of living in Ireland.

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Those beans are making me nervous

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

English breakfast is best breakfast. We in America cannot compete with it.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Explosive diarrhea for hours.

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Does this help? If I'm really hungover the mere thought of food makes me nauseous.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

By itself? Ish. Have it with an asprin, cup of tea and two pints of water? Yep. Salt and fat helps, in my experience anyway.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

In my case spicy instant noodles kinda help, but lately I don't get hangovers, which either means I've adapted or my wild days are gone :-(

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

That's a proper brekky. No pork chop so it's a diet breaksfast, but it'll do for a starter.

9 years ago | Likes 44 Dislikes 1

I've never understood the beans

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Bacon sandwich, dip in egg, dip in bean juices. Then you will understand.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Ah. I enjoy a bacon, egg and cheese sandwich. Beans aren't a breakfast accompanied-sort over here.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Cheese is not for breakfast. Beans are. It's called an English breakfast, so we win lol :p

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

My dad used to make pork chops for breakfast.....memories

Cures the hangover, induces the heart attack. With it. Get. In. My. Arteries.

9 years ago | Likes 192 Dislikes 4

2 things. 1 your username. I get that reference. 2 my favourites are mostly food porn. Have fun.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I could eat all of that. Not probably within a certain time limit. But definitely in one sitting

9 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

I need this. In a love/hate relationship with tequila.

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

Cures hangovers and bad cases of "beating heart syndrome".

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

My stomach is so fucked up during a hangover there is no way I could eat like half of that

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Just hit the trees til you look Vietnamese

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

And a shitstorm diarrea

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

they say english breakfast is the best... carbs, proteins, fats, with some accidental vitamins.

9 years ago | Likes 59 Dislikes 4

And tastes like heaven

9 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 1

That looks disgusting for being a breakfast, some juice and toasts please.

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 23

You belong in a dictionary as an exapmle of Iggnorance.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

damn continentals

9 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

the juice and toast is first. then you have the meat n beans n so on.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Scottish breakfast is best. Much the same. But swap hash browns for potato scones & maybe throw in a wee bit of haggis if yer feeling fancy

9 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 1

My husband is Irish + Scottish so we have to have potato scones plus about 5 different types of bread. It just ends up being so much bread..

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Why would toy want haggis? I'm told it tastes like ass.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 10

If you've never tried why would you say anything at all?

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

You've been told wrong, unless that person really likes eating ass

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

but it tastes like mighty fine ass in the right hands.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

It's like spicy, nutty, herby, beefy sausage meat. Tasty as fuck. Honestly. It has a bed rep but if you like meat good haggis is awesome

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

protein, fat, protein, fat, protein, fat, carb.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

bread, carbs. breaded thingy (hash browns?), carbs. tomatoes, carbs. mushrooms, carbs. beans, starch. loads of carbs in there.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

can we make protein fat? fatty protein? something fucking awesome?

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Black pudding is a fucking must have.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

How does it taste?

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

You'll have to try it m8!

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

It's hard to give an exact taste, but it's meaty and fatty and delicious

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

What does black pudding taste like?

9 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Like a scab. You HAVE eaten scabs before, I assume.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 3

Spices and protein with an airy meatloaf texture? It can be very good. The white specks are bits of fat to make the cooked blood less dry.

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Yep- with a hint of iron... cut it in quarters and dunk it in your runny yolk... so so so good. I miss it.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Like heaven, I miss it so much.

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

If it's a good brand/butcher made and well spiced really nice, cheaper ones not as good

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Kinda like charred sausage.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

But more specifically, like whatever it's spiced with, like a sausage but heavier

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

It doesn't taste like blood first of all, it tastes kinda sweet and the flavors are pretty much spices used. Goes great with salty bacon.

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Good to know. I've never really dared to try the stuff when I was over in the UK or England. We have it here too but... egh.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I wish I could find a place that sold it here in Denver to take home

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

But it really goes well with some salty pork, and at least here in Sweden, we use a bitter-ish lingonberry jam to complete it.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Go ahead and try it, people assume it's metal-tasting like blood but it really isn't. It's not awesome, it's just spice-flavored mess.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Well I don't like eating organs either and cooked blood never seemed appetising due to having spent hours in animal pathology. :(

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

If this is what everyone in England eats for breakfast, how the hell are Americans the most obese folks in the world?

9 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

You obviously haven't been to England.

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Nope. Wife is from there, but she's vegetarian.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

There are a lot of fat fuckers over here in the UK. But a breakfast like that, for most folk, is a once a month kind of treat, not daily. :)

9 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 0

That makes sense. Although I'm not sure I could eat all of that ever. That would feed myself and my four kids!

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I've put away quite a few that size, and bigger, over the years. How I don't weigh 30 stone I'll never know.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

And from my one trip over there, the US is full of fatties because you serve soft drinks by the gallon and EVERYTHING is loaded with sugar.

9 years ago | Likes 15 Dislikes 0

Good old corn lobby. But we can't say anything about farmers, even though family farms are mostly dead!

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Yeah as a Dutchie I don't even think I could eat your bread without keeling over.

9 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Yeah, pop is way too popular for some reason, and the bread I can't explain. I'm not a bread fan, but I grew up making homemade with my mom.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I'm definitely a bread fan but I do have the feeling that there's more sugar in supermarket bread than there used to be. Of course 1/2

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

2/2 that's still a LOT LESS than there is in US bread apparently but if that already bothers me I don't want to know hahaha.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Aside from wanting to see the world. This is why I want to cross the pond. Americans get a fatso rep and then you see this shit I'm drooling

9 years ago | Likes 45 Dislikes 0

Well you get to eat this but then you have to work in a coal mine for 10 hours. Sound fair?

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 4

Ya, but the bacon and bangers aren't as salty as American equivalent. Plus, blood pudding.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Th s is the only good food there. Well, that and fish & chips. And Nando's, but they re Portuguese. And Sainsbury's granola. That's about it

9 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 11

Try a good steak and kidney pudding.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

No! Crisps. Cadbury Dairy Milk. Curry. Sunday Roast with Yorkshire Puds. And omg your strawberry jam! Steak and Mushroom pie. And Pasties!

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

And pies. And sausage rolls.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Cadbury. We don't get that shit in the Netherlands.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

You have no idea how bad and full of chemicals the food in the US is. I am so envious of your food in Britain.

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

BLASPHEMER! You forgot Yorkshire Puddings.

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Shit, I forgot about those!

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

You seem to have forgotten about a Sunday Roast

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

Never had one. :(

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

What about Sunday roasts? Yorkshire puds!

9 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 0

I hear England also has the best curry outside of India. Ya know, cuz of the whole colonialism thing.

9 years ago | Likes 21 Dislikes 0

Oh and Yo! Sushi. (The curry chicken reminded me.)

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Yea a lot of the dishes don't exist in India either, like an adaptation of sorts, e.g. Korma

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Tikka was invented in Scotland as a gravy for fish and chips. The more you know.
