I used to love this show when I was a kid. Don't really remember it but I have a feeling I'd look at it now as conservative propaganda disguised as entertainment. Bashing hippies and black americans.

Same. I don’t think much has really changed since then, though. Modern TV is flooded with cop shows, and while they’ve evolved from the Dragnet days, it’s still a subtle & persistent pro-police message.
