Wouldn't work on me. I know he'd never write one.

#16 ok, true story, I was talking to GF at the time (2006) she asked what I was doing. I told her I was playing Smash Bros and she invited me over to 'play'. So 20 minutes I show up to her house. She opens the door with a visibly confused expression " where's the GameCube?"

#27 This seems like it would be easy to make a fuckload of money with the right power and you can fly to do shit that is impossible. Tho, it

2 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Complete control over probability is the ultimate superpower.

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

would depend on exactly what we are calling *a* superpower/powerset. Do we call 'being a Zayajin/Viltrumite/Tamaranian' a power?

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Idk, would you call being a Human a power? If you were living on a different planet where you are the only Terran and therefore have a physical leg up on everybody else, would that be considered a superpower? To the other beings, sure but to you, you just have 2 eyes and teeth

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Yes, but do power dampers work on them? Power dampers work on mutants, who apparently are all activated with a single gene. Do we classify 'psycher' as a single power or multiples? 'Magic user' or 'super techer'?

#1 I, too, would fight Batman for her

#36 his name. It's literally Mr. Grinch.

2 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

I think it's also his species. But like, he's the only one. Maybe species is the wrong word. He's like a mythical creature, you know? The Green Man, or The Babadook.

#48 this question is designed to assess whether you are the sort of person who would find a creative way to exploit an innocent intelligent animal for profit, regardless of the moral implications. That's something a lot of employers are looking for in prospective employees

2 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

Haven't you seen the Simpsons? Elephants cost a lot of money. I was thinking of eating it, but yeah it sucks that I didn't consider setting it free was an option.

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Wouldn't that count as giving it away? I don't think it is an option

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Because my brain is broken from being a lawyer for years my first thought was to hold the elephant in trust for a wildlife conservancy. Title to the elephant never passes, so he's still "my" elephant, he wasn't sold or given away, but he lives in a wildlife preserve and I'm not obligated to pay for his upkeep. It's a s***** answer, but technically solid

I'd give it away to somewhere capable of handling it. The job application isn't my mom.

Easy, son. They just bought us dinner. They didn’t let us take the Jag out.

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

#34 you’re mostly paying for the labor and archival materials - because framing things is generally a pain . That said - there are a lot of online places where you can order the kit and assemble yourself for a lot cheaper. Also the way Micheal’s attaches the art is not good for it. I use frameiteasy a lot. Pro tip- if the art is original and good - frame it with archival mat and UV glass. Just do it so you aren’t sad in 20 years 💕

2 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

I have had one thing framed by Michaels and it is the only frame that is warped out of all the prints I've had done.

Great trash film. Loved that and "House" as a youth. Also Creepers. I weep for the youth of today, never will know what it's like to sneak off into the R section while your parents debate, Romancing the Stone, or WAR Of The Roses. I spit on your grave, basket case, fright night. Good times gone forever.

2 years ago | Likes 19 Dislikes 0

House! The Greatest American Hero vs. Bull Shannon, guest starring Norm from Cheers. Love that one and House II (with Cliff Clavin!)

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I spit on your grave? That movie was brutal .

2 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

You know there are like 4 Critter films, and a 5th one that came out in 2019, right?

2 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 2

#48 this is the origin of the “white elephant” gift

2 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 0

Not only that, but the white elephant was usually very expensive to care for, and you *had* to keep it alive. It was a good way to financially ruin someone you didn't like.

2 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Exactly… it’s one example of an actual curse

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

Once again, I needed this. After being diagnosed with lung cancer and given less than a week, our cat Clover passed away this morning. She was our protector, and didn't leave until she knew we'd be OK without her. Thanks for the good feels and laughs!

#3 this made me wonder... are there any typos carved on the walls of Egyptian tombs in hieroglyphics?...

2 years ago | Likes 17 Dislikes 0

There are crossouts.

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

overseer watching the carver, "bird, ankh, eye, bird...no, damnit, the other bird!"

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I guess that's inevitable. They had a bunch of very similar looking hieroglyphs, some of which represented homonyms / similar sounding words. People may have confused those in the same way English speakers confuse their and there. And it wasn't a purely logographic writing system. They also used phonetic symbols as well as semantic markers to indicate things like plural, so that was an additional error factor.

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Yeah, but the carver has No Ragrets
