Not Quite Antique  - Only 61 Years to Go - Old Star Wars Mirror

Bought for me when I was just a nipper in 1978 from my sister and her husband as a birthday gift- I also had a label maker which is why the back of the picture has the date! (Blacked out the full date and present givers, you know the internet, right? - but this was just a year after the first movie came out).

Somewhere I still have the original novelisation which I remember seeing in a school book catalogue the year before and bought. Got George Lucas as the author but was actually written by Alan Dean Foster who did loads and loads of other Star Wars books.

The amazing thing is this has survived leaving home, getting married, two more house moves and three kids. Antique is defined as being over 100 years old so this has a way to go. At 39 years its probably older than most people reading this.

And, no, I will not take three fiddy. Oh, maybe...........Needs cleaning anyway.
