They did it so well that it started to blur my memory from TOS, blending in to Star Trek Continues. Absolutely captured the essence of the original both visually and with the story lines.

They did a great job, too bad the Kirk actor was big into sexual assault and pedophilia and tanked their chance at a second season, because they did a great job at every level. Except the sex abuse, of course.

What? I never heard about that. I thought this series was fantastic and wondered why they didn't continue.

https://the-sinistral.livejournal.com/1626997.html Yep. It's sad because ... they did such a good job. Everything about it was just Trek. Catch the actors with the correct overhead light to remove the hard edges from their faces and you'd swear it was the original actors.
