Lucky me

Last March, l had an ACL reconstruction and meniscal repair/removal (medial was repaired, lateral was removed). The recovery was a year long and I was looking forward to returning to sports this spring.

On my way to work two weeks ago I was rear ended twice by the same driver, which resulted in 4 herniated discs. I haven’t been to work since the accident. I don’t know if I’ll need surgery on my back. Also I’m having nerve issues so I have to see a neurologist.

Oh and I’m 24 in April.

First impact-> I stopped braking to minimize damage-> roll forward and brake again-> second impact.

The guy who hit me was most likely on his phone. Don’t text and drive folks.
