I have Heavy Metal on DVD, and they had a version on there where they play the whole movie sound (dialog, effects, and music) but it's just the story boards.
I'd watch the entire movie as reference.

I’m always amazed how many people don’t know this. Like, yeah, dude, when artists draw they uses references! Hell even astounding savants like that dude who made a perfect sketch of NYC from Birds Eye view from memory still had to go up in a helicopter first to SEE IT.
References are important!
