Source material: Resident Evil 2 Remake

3D printed from resin on an Elegoo Mars. The trigger/trigger guard wouldn’t print correctly, so I had to print the pieces separately and “weld” them back to the body of the gun separately, hence the weird seams.
Couldn’t find the exact pouch but tried to do similar weathering.
Same as above; the holster used in the game was impossible to find, so I settled for a similar model.

Before you go out in public, it is super, super important to get an orange end on that gun. The cosplay is awesome, and it would fool some dumbass cop for sure.

I've never printed with resin, how heavy is it compared to PLA or ABS?

So I actually printed her gun in PLA first, but since I needed the surfaces to be super smooth I switched to resin so I wouldn’t have to spend days sanding. The PLA print was 35 grams, while the resin one was 119 grams - so it made for a nicer feeling prop imo!

The only disparaging detail that really riles me up about this is that Claire is a bonafide redhead. Not Claire Redfield if not redhead. If anything, you could be a Jill Valentine posing in Claire's garb.
But the lengths you went to make as much of this as possible, highly admirable and applause-worthy!
Even with the attempts at finding already made accessories that come close is so good! You know how many people cosplay and they just "get a brown belt" like it's enough?

I know cosplay is for everyone and that everyone should feel free to do it without high criticism. But we are entering that age where a game developer produces "extra content" in which you can dress the MC up in costume of another highly notable character.
Take Final Fantasy 14, for example. You might be confused at a convention why someone looks like a catgirl version of High Summoner Yuna from Final Fantasy X... and wielding a weapon from FF14 but non-existent in the FFX universe.
