Foxes are so cool. I saw one once in real life and we scared each other. I couldn’t believe how fast it sprinted away across the field. They’re sooo fast

Yeah I've recently seen one as well, though it took me a while to recognize I was looking at a fox and not some kind of weird stray dog (it was twilight-ish). I think it was the first encounter with one that I can recall, at least truly wild. Only lasted a few seconds, it was off into the bushes afterwards, but it's still pretty amazing. I've gotten pretty used to encountering rabbits , squirrels and even deer in the wild, but foxes and martens are still a rarity.

Fantastic photos. There are gray foxes in my area but they are so aloof I've only ever seen a passing glimpse of them.
