She thrifted the suit and skirt then sewed on some accessories, made a thread spool sash, and a awesome Mad Hatter hat.

Both girls went entirely bonkers on their accessories. I love the rabbits pocket watch, she did crazy good, although I believe it might be two days slow.

Why is a Raven like a writing desk?

She thrifted the jacket and skirt.

She sewed on some cuff color frill, some colourfull buttons, and some pocket plaid.

she also added the ribbon and beads

Screw the box, I think outside the straight jacket. -my daughter/mad hatter

The thread spool stash.

Finally she skinned and topped the hat. I missed the accessory addition pictures...

once the hat core was created, she skinned it in a fabric we had around.

She added the brim next

She started by cutting out a cardboard base and hot glued it together.

You know what the issue is with this world? Everyone wants some magical solution for their problem and everyone refuses to believe in magic. -Mad Hatter

No mercury in the hat? Such a lack of authenticity.

I never understood this about some girls when I was a boy. How do they think up this stuff?? ⬆️ Very, very cool!

Using that emoji for the rabbit makes it look like she doesn't want to be there.

I was aiming for "worried" about being late... my emoji skills are not good.

Just make sure your daughter stays well away from Batman

Should have made the hat with a lead form. To complete the madness and all. Good job.

We're all quite mad here, she fits right in. However, I have set aside lead paint chips for future university care packages.

She might be too well along by then. Throw them in a smoothie today.

Thanks; that the narrative I sell to myself sometimes, but I suspect it's more accurate to say despite my interference she has grown into an awesome young lady.

Good on you for “blurring” out their face.

I have never posted their faces on Imgur, and probably won't till their in their late teens and they specifically ask me to.

I wish more people thought the way you did.

Hope they have a high school in your district with an awesome theater department! They will love your kid and her friends!

I think so too, next year will be her first year in high school and high school can suck soo bad. I hope she meets like minded people.

If she keeps showing that talent, she most certainly will!
