Social media WTF? You can listen to their speeches on the house and Senate floor. Many of them have their own YouTube accounts.
Also, Congress is expected to communicate with their constituents. It used to be done by mail and Congress got free stamps. Now it's done by social media so everybody can get updated news minute by minute.
