Big Boy No. 4014 is the world’s largest operating steam locomotive. Of the eight remaining Big Boys in existence today, No. 4014 is the only one still in operation. The engine and tender weigh almost 600 tons and produces 6,290 horsepower at roughly 41 mph using 11 tons of coal and 12,000 US gal (45,000 L) of water an hour. This massive steam locomotive was engineered to haul 3,600-ton freight trains over the Wasatch Mountain 1.14% grade but in tests hauled 4,200 tons at 20 mph over that route.

There's maybe four of them that are still in this good of condition that they can run on tracks, out of eight that still remain. And dude's mad that they made the decision to run them on coal in... *checks notes* ...1941.
Saw one in Scranton. God damn beautiful machine. If I didn't have so much going on this summer I would certainly take the time to catch this one on tour.

Big Boy is a museum piece that is currently on tour, most freight trains are diesel-electric which probably isn't much better.
