She is adorable
puffschick420
Aww they’re both adorable
Sunshine12345
My daughter was so excited by this, she is 3. Thank you.
Debberz
The way she holds the kitten suggests that she is as beautiful inside as she is on the outside.
Moonchild2020
Amazing. no words for her beauty. I hope she will have a beautifull life as wel <3
afyrwench
Gorgeous eyes!!
TheRutabagaUprising
Her and her kitten are adorable! Beautiful eyes on them both.
piscimacy
I'm going to hell, but these two were right next to each other on the front page
CreepyPhlox
She looks like a doll!
Durahl
Kinda uncanny how much she looks like a vintage Disney Character... ?
hemi244824
She is going to break some… ❤️
mateo25024
This reminds me of that NatGeo cover from the 80’s. Amazing eyes.
trueunpopularopinions
This one? (Don't google how she looks now.)
blockberd
mateo25024
I already know how she looks now. Decades of poverty will do that to you. I’m just happy that she’s still alive.
PJamz
Can we just stop and appreciate how breathtaking her eyes are?! Like .... holy fuck!
SeeShark
Light-colored eyes aren't that unusual in the Levant, but they're certainly as pretty there as they are elsewhere. :)
Justboredtobehere
They look like they're shining!
DoomBuggie
I think that's the whole point of this post
PJamz
Good on you for noticing
TransAtheistMinister
**allah fuck
Kbantar
She's young enough that her eyes may darken a bit before adulthood. Mine are brown, but much darker than they were at that age.
HiccupsAreReverseThrowUps
Downvoted? You're right. It happened to myself and my daughter my eyes went gray, hers went dark blue they were light blue this year.
Lightsmith
Incredible eyes. Id think they were contacts theyre so blue
Acc87
there's some oversaturation filter on the video (not from me, I found it like this), but they just are that bright
FarQuad
When I see something this adorable combined with the word Syria, I dread their safety.
CirB
Major aww... but I feel sad that since it's Syria, I can't help thinking what her life's like..
Acc87
OP on reddit said its in a refugee camp in Jordan. The kid is Syrian. So she is (relatively) safe
thricebakedxyz
she and LuLu look to be happy.
DarkwingDuc
Safe, that’s good. But a Yemeni refugee camp is not a fun place. Hope she and her family find permanent asylum someplace soon.
MagisterGrimbart
She's in Jordan. That's little better. But they probably have fierce problems with covid, as in most of the middle Eastern refugee camps.
DarkwingDuc
Doh, don't know why I wrote Yemen. Same sentiment, though.
MADhouse64
Attracting attention in a Syrian refugee camp can't be good.
ThunderBashie
She's the offspring of a very powerful line of mutants and/or wizards. I just know it.
89PercentSureYoureFibbing
So this is some war baby that got left I guess?
TheAlviss
How dare that child have more beautiful eyes than me!
procrastinatingagain
She is gorgeous.
Brobert1947350
The little girl is too
GuitarBobMonterey
amazing & awesome how beautiful she is
FunkyHandsMcgee
I know a Fremen when I see one.
FBKatB3tadotcom1
Is she going to be the new Afghanistan girl from that famous National Geographic cover?

I smirked but also it's interesting that a perfectly normal human appearance seems odd to people. We're so used to calling everyone east 1/

of the Balkans "brown" that most of us don't have any idea what most west or central Asians actually look like.
EeveeInASweater
Central Asia basically doesn't exist for most north americans
recliningpanda
Let’s be honest a worrying number of them can’t find Asia on a map
SeeShark
Neither does the Levant, or at least they just assume the Levant is just sort of more Arabia.
TomatoPepper
I'm in south America, and I know some of them because of the FIFA games
JoyGrail
They're both pretty. Very lucky cute girl for having such a very beautiful eyes...
Witcher187
This is so sweet I just got a cavity.
ButtholeButts
She is growing up in a smoldering hellhole filled with the charred bones of thousands of other children her age. Did that help?

As a non native English speaker, I pride myself for understanding this pun
Witcher187
As someone who's attempted to speak several non-english languages, you have my admiration.

If you’re feeling touched, go an volunteer there. Syria is absolutely leveled

A-dora-bowl.
AppalachianDruid
Looks like a Disney Pixar kid
jraef
All blue eyes are from a single genetic mutation that occurred in Europe between 6k and 10k years ago. 1/2
barnwolf
Wow that's sad. They could have all gotten telekinetic superpowers, but instead they just got blue eyes.
jraef
So her family has some Viking or Crusader blood in them. BOTH parents must possess the recessive gene for her to come out blue.
itrulydontknowhattosay
A Viking cat!
otiumCatulli
Not quite because the mutation occurred 10k years ago, when Vikings are 1500 years ago
SeeShark
Yeah, the mutation almost certainly spread to central Asia long before the vikings and crusaders got there.
BreadMaster0
Does that logic also apply from "regular Blue eyes" to "BRILLIANT blue eyes" like hers?
ElRigs83
I hope she and the cat survive
TheDarkPunisher
As someone with light blue eyes, welcome to a lifetime of light-sensitivity and watering eyes from any amount of wind!
VInTheSkyWithElephants
That's just a light eyes thing? I thought everyone dealt with that
tidepool
My moms eyes got a sunburn just driving from KY to Texas in December. So delicate.
Mpete
Check. Check. CHECK. Tried cold? Like norwegian winter cold? Had a few -19°C days recently. I'm so emotional I tear up taking out the trash
TheDarkPunisher
Oh man... that sounds rough. Freezing temps are hard... but I live in WA in the US, so we don't get below freezing too often. -19°C.. wow...
Dodel1976
Sunshine also, but then I have I have Photophobia.
TheDarkPunisher
https://www.allaboutvision.com/conditions/lightsensitive.htm - I never knew this had a name. Thanks! Sunglasses are a must when it's day.
Mpete
Same. I don't like having my picture taken either.
TheDarkPunisher
Thank you sir! May I have another?
