Yellow base coat paint over a black primer

washed with black to add depth

Drybrush with yellow to unify it and make the transition smoother

First layer of a pure (but watered down) yellowed to targeted spots.
making sure not to get it in the recesses so it really pops out

another layer of yellow to smoothen out the coverage and make it solid.

overall i am really happy how the cloth turned out especially since i was only going for tabletop quality (looks good from arms length away)

Thats some nice Yellow, Great job

I always thought yellow was a bastard colour to paint. You've done a really great job with it. More updates as you go would be awesome.
