As a kid I practically lived in libraries. The librarians at both my school and town library knew me by name and would flag certain books they knew I’d be interested in.
Having had a less than perfect childhood situation, afternoons and evenings spent reading books in the library are some of my favorite memories.

My mother was a librarian. I also practically lived at the library. Especially in the summer since it was cheaper than a babysitter.

Many people had things far worse than I did. I have a son of my own now and pour my efforts into making sure his childhood is much better.

I used to fill my backback when I went to library, used to use bike a lot for combined 30km trip. Had to loan as many as could carry.
