Figgy pudding. Authentic British plum pudding is a trip to make, I recommend you try it. Hella good, like fruity gingerbread.

I tried to make a New York style cheesecake with red swirls. It did not go well. Not sweet enough and I burned the crust. C'est la vie.

Peaches Melba. Highly recommend, but I used like half the sugar Escoffier recommends to make the raspberry glaze.

Irish stew. Hearty and delicious; strong recommend after you get in from doing something cold, like shovelling snow out of the driveway.

Egg nog pie. Basically a vanilla creme pie with egg nog mixed in. Outstanding, no notes, serve at Christmas.

Spicy Grilled Cheese sandwiches with tomato bisque. I used chili oil instead of butter for grill the cheese. Excellent and spicy.

Authentic gingerbread. More of a cake than a bread. My new favorite cake.

This is a recipe of my own design, which I call Iranian Chili. It's a fusion of American-style tex-mex chili and the Iranian dish khoresht bamiaah, which is also a spicy beef stew. I won a contest with my recipe.

Reese's peanut butter cup bread. Okay chocolate peanut butter bread, do not recommend.

Pumpkin Spice tiramisu. Instead of coffee liquor, I used pumpkin spice hot cocoa and I mixed a can of pumpkin in with the cheese. It's okay; not my best work.

Carnitas tacos, I think? Anyway, they're all right, nothing to write home about.

Beef skewers. Trying some Greek food out. Pretty good, I mean, it's beef on a stick, hard to beat that.

Regular tiramisu

Raspberry apple jam tartlettes. Baked these for a woman I was trying to impress. Worked, but made a terrible mess.

I do not remember what this is but it was delicious.

Iron skillet apple brownie. No chocolate in it; it's basically a non-rising apple cake. Needs to be served hot with vanilla ice cream.

Beef bourguignon. My mother gifted me the cookbook her mother gave to her back 1971. I selected this recipe from it to try out.

I don't remember what this is called but it's a French cheesy potato dish. Kind of like a fancy potatoes au gratin.

Pineapple upside down cake. Good but lord almighty it is almost sickeningly sweet. Floss and brush your teeth after this one, I mean it.

Pumpkin pie. Crustless pumpkin pie from the Vatican's cookbook. Very good nontraditional pumpkin pie.

Shamash or shukash, IDR the name. Basically eggs poached in a spicy tomato sauce. It's all right; not the greatest but not bad.

I had to make food at my parents' house because of an emergency and wound up making this spicy fajita bowl. I think. I don't remember this one.

Homemade watermelon ice cream.

Pulled pork sandwiches, skillet fries, cornbread, and peas & carrots. I think this was for Labor Day?

Caesar salad, because I love caesar salad

Some kind of spicy breakfast casserole and banana bread with maple syrup mascarpone cheese on it. Excellent, but perilous because you don't want to stop at just one piece.

You don't need a campfire for s'mores. You can just the chocolate in the oven.

Bacon cheeseburgers for the 4th of July because America

Itrion. Basically honeyed sesame seed bars. Do not recommend, they need something else to break up the texture.

Some kind of taco, I want to say tacos rustico?

Kung Bao crispy chicken

I've seen a million posts about Full English breakfasts, so I decided to make some for me and the roomies. 10/10 the English know what they're about when it comes to fried breakfast food.

Hot sauce I made using peppers grown in my fenstergarten.

Puff pastry leaf cookies. Not sure what these were for but they were delicious.

Strawberry crinkle cookies. I didn't care for these but my roommates annihilated the entire batch. Win?

One of the roomies got dumped by his girl and was feeling down and wasn't eating or doing much of anything, so I made him this noodle bowl of couscous, peppers, beans, beef, almonds, and garlic. He felt better after eating it.

Detroit-style chili dogs. My mother is from Detroit, Michigan, so these were almost always on offer when I was a kid. I decided to share the love with my roomies.

Beignets for Mardi Gras

This horrible abomination is actually onion cheesy bread and is delicious.

Fruity Pebble Cake, which I learned exists from B Dylan Hollis on TikTok. Roomies didn't like it but it was doing it for me.

Pink lemonade pie. A sour/sweet lemon pie. Also related to me by B Dylan Hollis. Recommended.

These are jalapeno peppers from my fenstergarten. I am growing more this year and some cayenne peppers to make Tabasco sauce.

Crusty spam bake. Spam slice, coated in mustard, rolled in crushed corn Chex, baked, then laid on a pineapple slice. Absolutely S-tier, you must try this.

Dublin coddle. Another hearty meal to warm you up.the absolute best way to toss five different foods in a broth and ignore them for three hours.

Almond cookies. Copycat recipe from Chinese restaurant. They all right, could use some fruit.

Salsa I made from those peppers I showed you earlier.

The salsa ingredients before I put'em in the blender.

Croquet monsieur and French Onion soup. I think I messed up the soup but the sandwiches were delicious.

For my birthday: vampire tacos and Snoop Dog's nachos. Both S-tier.

Strawberry tartlettes with custard creme. Made to impress a woman. They worked.

Merry Christmas ⛄ Everything looks so delicious! And can I volunteer to be your roommate too? I can scrub and clean and I pick up after myself!
