When I get the "anonymous" survey, I always just answer down the middle. "How do you feel management is doing explaining the roadmap? 1 is horrible and 5 is phenomenal." I answer 3. Make the information useless. If you can convince everyone to do the same thing, then the survey cost them money for no benefit.

I've looked at my work email twice since we got bought out. Once at the beginning to "onboard" and the other 6 months ago because I missed some online training notices. I still haven't done the training.

This gets repeated so often by people with no understanding of IT systems. It's possible to have a system that knows which users have responded and who hasn't, and it's possible for your managers or whatever, to use that system to send out a reminder email to everyone who hasn't yet responded, without knowing who that emails is being sent to. It's really common practice.

That, and in my company we contract it out to a 3rd party that aggregates the data and comments so that the highest level of granularity is "which country" responded

And also still be cautious what you put because it's often pretty easy to distinguish who wrote what for examples

on the other hand - if your computer is company issued nothing is anonymous
