Real fjords are in Norway, all others are sparkling inlets.

Looks cold. Head south to Arizona so you can warm up.

Spent a week in Nevada about two weeks ago. 105 deg F, 40.5 deg C. I grew up in the Desert SW USA and I now live in the Pacific Northwest USA by choice. Going to Nevada was my wife's idea... Oh, and BTW, I still have two sisters living in Phoenix, and if they wanted to see me (which they don't) they'd have to come up here!

I love the SW. Hope to move back there. It's glorious IMO.

I'm happy for you, really! It's glorious that we still have the opportunity to decide for ourselves where we want to live, and variety is the spice of life. In my life I've been to or lived in almost all of the 50 states, including Alaska and Hawaii, and I chose to live in Washington State, where I actually like the sometimes gloomy / rainy climate. It never gets too hot or too cold up here in the PNW and I like that!
